Childhood obesity can be caused by many factors including unhealthy nutritional habits, lifestyles, and a lack of physical activity. This can lead to many health issues such as diabetes, blood pressure problems, and high cholesterol.
Along with this, obese children are more likely to have low self-esteem and can become ashamed of their bodies. Depression ingrained into the early developmental part of life increases the chances of clinical depression.
Create a child friendly mobile app that helps tackle the problem of child obesity. This that will allow children to remain physically active while enjoying time with friends and family.
Hyperkidz, an app developed to help fight obesity while allowing kids to have fun and engage with each other. Kids will compete against each other to complete daily challenges and try to have the fastest time while completing the challenge. At the end of each week, there is an in-app crowning of the winner with the best time. Each winner will receive an award for being that weeks winner.
